For the purpose of realization “Anti-corruption strategy in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2013-2020” on August 15, 2019 in city administration with the assistance of the deputy mayor Nigora Naymzhonzod, the chief inspector of department of anti-corruption directorate of the Agency of the state financial control and fight against corruption. In the Sughd region the meeting of Nazriyen Vasilibek Kurbon, heads of departments and divisions of executive bodies of the government of the city, heads of departments, structures and activists took place.
The first deputy mayor Nigor Naymzhonzod told about risks of corruption. After that Nazriyan Vaslibek made the speech, having noted that corruption comes from two Latin words – “sarry” (several participants from one group) and “rumper” (to break, cause damage, to erase and repeat). Later corruption became means of remuneration, that is purchase of officials and uses of their powers for personal benefit.
Economic factors, the social and moral rights and habits are basic reasons of corruption.
- Observers noted that prevention of corruption practice has to become a priority. Corruption earned money will never receive a share. Everyone has to know that with a dirty piece it is impossible to raise children correctly. For the first six months 2019 in Istaravshan 20 corruption crimes were registered.
At the same time the president told about the main content of a speech of the founder of the world and national unity – the leader of the nation, the president of the country Emomalii Rahmon at a meeting with financial, customs and tax employees.
At a meeting the presentation of Department of the Agency on the state financial control and fight against corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan of July 28, 2019 No. 19.3.1-1404 was also considered. Requirements of Article 668 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Tajikistan, i.e. failure to act in case of obvious violations were explained.
The deputy mayor Nigora Naymzhonzoda summed up the results of a meeting and asked activists to work together for prevention of corruption crimes.
