Istaravshan is the city of handicraftsmen

Ancient Istaravshan has history about 3000 years and deserved glory and the status among the cities of Central Asia with the hardworking and hardworking people.

 

Istaravshan long since is considered the place of revival of arts and crafts. The city developed beautiful traditional crafts and drew attention of businessmen. In this city more than 100 types of national crafts were developed, and handicraftsmen became famous for the art. Among them there are a ceramics, iron-wares, an embroidery, an engraving, combing, plaster, jewelry, knitting, woodworking, an engraving, an engraving, joiner’s products, copper, porcelain and many others. Many handicraftsmen in this region try to inherit the craft from generation to generation and to keep it in prison. Early times and the settlements of Istaravshan were called by profession. For example, pastors, scissors, soap-producing machines, scissors, butchers, collectors, waiters, potters, etc. Some of these fragments are still mentioned under these names. For development and revival of crafts of ancestors there are special schools “Master and Pupil” where young people and teenagers study a fine family tree.

 

The famous masters of Istaravshan – the carpenter Rakhimshaykh Rajabov, Ochir Fayzov, Okhundzhon Yokubov, Sirozhiddin Nuriddinov, Yuldashbek Barotbekov, Ali Yakhyo and Chitarist Miramin Saidov, copper masters Aloes Shafiyev and Mirzo Mansurov, master Raufi, master carpenter Dzhafur Holikov and others. We are proud of the fact that thanks to independence of the country and direct support of the Founder of the world and national unity – the Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan its Excellencies of Emomalii Rahmon created national crafts and showed new interest in people.
