Solemn meeting devoted to the 27th anniversary of establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan took place in the cultural palace of Istaravshan. In his speech, First Deputy Mayor of Istaravshan Abdusattor Qodiriy congratulated military servicemen, veterans of the Armed Forces and all those present on the 27th anniversary of the National Army establishment and appreciated their contribution to the preservation of peace and stability in the society and the achievements of the country’s independence.
It was stressed that the Armed Forces of the country was created in a very sensitive historical period and began from the first days to fulfill its mission. Thanks to the efforts of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency the President of the Armed Forces, the Armed Forces gradually developed and became a powerful defense force and a powerful shield of state and nation. In the course of his speech Abdusattor Kadiri noted that today there are all necessary conditions in all military units. Abdusattor Qodiriy called the National Army a great school of patriotism, courage and bravery, and said that the military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan are always ready to fulfill their sacred mission, namely to protect the Motherland and the interests of the state and nation. Then, on the basis of the Order of the Chairman of Sughd Province and the Order of the Mayor of the City, a large group of servicemen were awarded the Letter of Appreciation and the memorable gifts of the executive body of state authority of the city.
At the end of the event, participants were presented with a concert of craftsmen of the cultural sector of the city.
