Meeting of deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan with electors in the city of Istaravshan from September 10.
Such meetings were held in the city hospital, medical college and college of folk arts with the participation of delegates Ibrahim Abdullozoda, Mirali Dostizoda, Abduhalim Gafforov, as well as the Deputy Mayor of Istaravshan Nigora Naimjonzoda.
During the meeting, the delegates made reports on achievements in the independence, the activities of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, achievements in agriculture, industry, energy and other areas.
It was noted that on the initiative of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency President Emomali Rahmon declared 2019-2021 “Years of Rural Development, Tourism and Craft” and developed the “Tourism Development Program in Tajikistan for 2018-2020”. . Tourist companies have been exempted from income tax and imports of equipment, construction materials for construction of tourist infrastructure facilities, value-added tax and customs duties during the first five years of operation. Since 2018, more than 100 new travel companies have been established and the number of companies has reached 170.
After gaining state independence, we have achieved great success in the energy sector. During this period, 25 investment projects involving more than 2.4 billion US dollars have been created in the country. The most important achievements of this sector are the commissioning of new generating capacities – Rogun, Sangtuda, Dushanbe-500, Sughd-500 and small hydroelectric power stations.
Such meetings will be held in the rural communities, enterprises and organizations, the Department of Education and the Vocational School for Technical Vocational School until September 18.
