First session in Istaravshan

On March 12, 2020 the first session of the Majlis of people’s deputies of the city of Istaravshan (VI convocation) was held in the meeting of the city executive body. The session was attended by 38 elected deputies, representatives of Sughd LSG, Saidin Isomatdinov, officials of the city government, law enforcement, heads of organizations and institutions, chairmen of rural communities, heads of educational institutions and invited persons. After singing the National Anthem and choosing the secretariat of the three members, the session approved the agenda and began to consider it.

According to the first issue of the agenda “On approval of the powers of the deputies of the city people’s deputies, the sixth convocation”, he is the chairman of the city election commission. Abulkharov provided information. The mandate of 38 deputies of the Majlis of people’s deputies of Istaravshan city, the sixth convocation, elected on 1 March 2020, was approved and the decision on the issue was adopted. The elected deputies commemorated the oath. In the constituency “O. Repeat election No. 4 and Sabriston # 33 are to be held.

It was expressed gratitude to the members of the city election commission for the election of deputies of the city deputies on behalf of the participants of the session.

 

Deputy of People’s Deputies of Istaravshan City Council (Sixth convocation) voted in favor of approval of the instructions of the Majlis deputies.

The session of the Majlis of people’s deputies discussed the issue of establishing permanent commissions of people’s deputies of the city, election of their members and approval of the regulations of permanent commissions, and by the decision of the session the following commissions:

– Law and order, economic and budget reform, agrarian policy, nutrition, labor and services to the population, social protection, public health, family and women, education, culture and youth policy, construction, industry, transport, Communication, Road Management, Nature Conservation and Reef Farming working commissions consisting of five people were established and approved.

Also, the Statute of the permanent commissions of the Majlis of people’s deputies of Istaravshan city (the sixth convocation) was approved.

Deputies of the Chairman of the city from 6.02.2020 № 588 “On appointing Olimjonzoda Tolib Hamid as Deputy Mayor” and from May 29, 2020 No. 126 “On Appointment of Manager of the Culture Department of the City Government.” Sanginov Sharif Boussufovich ”.

It also approved the decisions of the city chairman from January 2020 to March 2020 on allocation of funds for social and cultural events, organizational activities of budgetary organizations, and material assistance.

The issue of forming a counting commission for the organization and holding of secret ballot for the nomination of a candidate to Majlisi milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan was discussed at the meeting. 9, No. 16, No. 39, elected. Deputies from constituencies # 13 and # 8 nominated Firouza Muminova, head of the Women and Family Affairs Department at the Istaravshan LDP, as a candidate for the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Thus, secret ballot by 38 out of 38 candidates won 37 votes, which is 97%.

CHAIRMAN OF THE ACCOUNTING COMMISSION Mirzoev reported on the results of secret voting on nomination of a candidate to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan. It was decided to nominate a candidate for the membership to the Majlisi Milli. Report of the Chairman of the Counting Commission on nomination of Firouz Muminova as a member of the Majlisi Milli from the Sughd constituency # 2 was approved.

In accordance with Article 32 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Elections of the Republic of Tajikistan”, the first session of the Majlis of people’s deputies was held.

In this decision it is necessary to ask the Sughd constituency election commission # 2 about the election of members of the Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan to register Firuza Muminova.

Candidate of Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan Firuza Muminova spoke about the thanks to the deputies of the city for their trust and suggestions. At the session, the issue of the list of deputies of the city was discussed at the joint meeting of all the regional representative bodies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Republic of Tajikistan from the Sughd constituency # 2.

The list of the deputies of city council of people’s deputies of the city, the sixth call for a joint meeting of all city representatives for election of members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan from Sughd constituency №2 was approved. At the end, the decisions of the city chairman were approved by the deputies.
