Kyrgyz-Tajik border. Every action gives rise to opposition

Regularly the Kyrgyz media, in particular the 24.kg website, provoke not only a virtual conflict, but also a real misunderstanding that threatens to escalate cross-border tension.

But there is a counterargument for every information attack of the Kyrgyz side, and not a single fact that the Tajik side can voice. The named site gives as an example the cases of allegedly illegal seizure of border land by citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan. At the same time, Kyrgyz journalists call for witnesses and mention the opinions of people who do not exist in nature.

It is appropriate to recall a number of offenses committed by citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, which actually led to confrontation and conflicts, including with the use of stones, cold steel and firearms. And, despite all the efforts undertaken by the Tajik side to maintain law and order and stability on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border, recently, some irresponsible citizens of Kyrgyzstan, including editors and media journalists, are deliberately trying to destabilize the public situation, provoking an ethnic conflict, exacerbating the situation on the ground and in the media space.

Both Kyrgyz officials and military personnel, as well as ordinary residents of the border territories succeeded in this. So, in the Chorkuh jamoat of the Isfara district of the Sughd region of the Republic of Tatarstan, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic appropriated 280 hectares of land with the source of the Mastokhi water distribution channel. And the Kyrgyz border guards systematically impede the construction and economic activities of Tajiks in this area. There are cases when Kyrgyz border guards illegally visited the homes of the residents of Tojikon Mahalla demanding that citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan obtain citizenship of Kyrgyzstan or, otherwise, leave their native places. In Vorukh jamoat, in the Kekh region, Kyrgyz citizens have appropriated 6 hectares of land and the source of the Mehnatobod water distribution channel. Here, border guards impede the construction and economic activities of the Tajik non-occupation of the Shahi Surkh zone, to which the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan allocated land plots. In the zone of the village of Bedak (Tamdik), which belongs to Tajikistan, border guards of the Kyrgyz Republic illegally built a border post and build a bridge, which caused disputes between Tajik and Kyrgyz border guards.

The population of jamoats in the B. Gafurovsky districts is also under constant pressure from individual Kyrgyz border guards and officials, which is heating up the situation among the local population. So, the sports ground in the makhalla of Bahor of the Ovchikalach jamoat, which is a disputed territory, was distributed among 8 residents of the Kulundi jamoat of the Leylak region by the leadership of the Leylak district of the Batkent region. Only the timely intervention of the relevant structures stopped this illegal distribution. Citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic Odinayev Safar Vositovich is particularly negatively active. For example, on June 4, 2018, he headed the residents of the village of Maksat, who at an indicated sports ground organized an impromptu bazaar with the sale of agricultural products, which became the reason for the legitimate demands of Tajik border guards to stop trade in this controversial area. Then the locals came into conflict with them. Kyrgyz border guards who used physical force and weapons took part in the incident. As a result of the incident, Tajik border guard M. Ruziev was wounded, K. Kayumov was injured and 3 Tajik soldiers were taken hostage.

In addition, starting in 2013, forestry officers and frontier workers of Kyrgyzstan constantly interfere with the functioning of oil and gas wells in the Niyozbek and Karakchikum zones of Kanibadam city, capturing 13 wells. In July 2018, they drilled well No. 205 and assigned 400 meters of oil pipeline to the Kyrgyz Republic, which also makes it possible to illegally transport raw materials from oil and gas wells No. 1, 42 and 52. The Kyrgyz side illegally carries out construction work on the territory of oil and gas wells in Tajikistan, and points are constructed sales of petroleum products, infrastructure is developing. In many occupied disputed territories, Kyrgyz citizens, with the assistance of local authorities, are building administrative, residential, utility and other facilities. For example, the Kyrgyz side in the disputed territory of the Ovchikalach jamoat of B. Gafurovsky district is taking steps to design a new settlement, Maksad-2. At the same time, the Kyrgyz side regularly illegally demolishes or sets fire to residential and household buildings of Tajik citizens. So, a year ago, Erkin Turbonovich, a resident of the makhalla of the Bakai jamoat of Oksoy of the Batkent region, Zholchiev, using a tractor, prevented the installation of a water pipe for residents of the village of Tojikon of the Vorukh jamoat, which became a cause for a conflict of the parties. Kyrgyz border guards have hindered the repair work of the Todzhikon-Bakai highway, which is shared by both sides, which caused a conflict in which more than 600 residents of nearby settlements participated. As a result, the road was closed by the Kyrgyz side for several hours.

March 13, 2019 An oder from Kyrgyzstan sent a tractor of the “Loader” brand to the disputed border area of the Aksai-Tamdyk road section to continue construction. Residents of the Vorukh jamoat in Isfara, where more than 33 thousand citizens of Tajikistan live, expressed their disagreement with the above actions of the Kyrgyz side. After that, border guards of the Kyrgyz Republic used firearms against unarmed citizens and, having blocked the Isfara-Vorukh road, banned traffic on it. Crossing roads and banning the movement of Tajik citizens is a vicious practice of the local authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic. Later, border guards of Kyrgyzstan in a Niva car drove into the inhabitants of Vorukh jamoat, as a result of which, a citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan Tursunov Hasanboy Davlatovich, born in 1991, a resident of K. Karimov’s jamoat Vorukh, was injured. 50-60 citizens of Kyrgyzstan arrived at the scene, who began to throw stones at the residents of this jamoat. As a result, more than 20 citizens of Tajikistan received injuries of varying severity. In addition, the border guards of Kyrgyzstan held 30 passengers from among Tajik citizens on the territory of the Aksai border guard squad in two Gazelle cars.

It is worth recalling that it is stones, like cobblestones of the revolutionary proletariat, that are for “peaceful” Kyrgyz citizens the main weapon of intimidation and fights. And in a situation where, as the classic wrote, the tops cannot and the lower classes do not want, this can lead to dangerous, irreversible consequences. So, the aforementioned Odinaev S.V. August 5 this year on the territory of the ovchalachal jamoat B. Gafurovsky drove two cars laden with stones to the place of deployment of Tajik border guards, starting to throw them in order to provoke another conflict. On March 13, 2019, stones again flew towards Tajik citizens when the construction of the Koktash-Oksoy-Tamdik road was launched in the territory of Vorukh, Isfara from Kyrgyzstan, in violation of the bilateral intergovernmental Protocol. The residents of the Vorukh jamoat in Isfara protested against these actions of the Kyrgyz side. In response, the Kyrgyz opened fire on the inhabitants of the named jamoat. Also, law enforcement agencies of Kyrgyzstan blocked the Isfara-Vorukh road, stopping the movement of vehicles of Tajik citizens on it. In addition, Kyrgyz border guards held 30 passengers from among Tajik citizens in two Gazelle cars on the territory of the Oksoi border guard squad as hostages. 50-60 citizens of Kyrgyzstan arrived at Vorukh Jamoat under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of the Jamoat Oksa of the Batken District, Zhalchiev Erkin, who threw stones at the residents of Vorukh. As a result, 11 citizens of Tajikistan received injuries of varying severity and were taken to hospital.

On the territory of the village of Khoja Alo Jamoat Chorkukh, hunting weapons were used by citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, as a result, a Tajik citizen Hakimov Hussein, born 1976, a resident of the Somoniyon section of Jamoat Chorkuh, was wounded in the heart region, from which he died in a hospital. Also injured: senior district police lieutenant Avezzoda Saidsharif – in the thigh; citizen Atamov Maksadzhon, born in 1973, resident of Tagi-garden – in the head region and Ayubov Rakhim, born in 1973, resident of the village of Khoja Alo Jamoat Chorkuh – in the leg. A resident of the Muminabad section of Jamoat Chorkuh Sokhibov Rakhmoniddin, born in 1984, was injured from being hit by stones. In addition, Kyrgyz citizens set fire to the warehouse of Tajik citizen Mullodzhonov Abdumajid, a resident of the village of Khoja Alo, and a mill in the Somoniyon section of Chorkuh jamoat. This incident was provoked by the chairman of the kishlak council of Oksa Batken district, a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic Roza Usarova, who acted to capture the site adjacent to the village of Khoja Alo. This official, like Odinayev Safar, is the constant instigators of the aggravation of Tajik-Kyrgyz relations, inciting ethnic hatred between the Kyrgyz and Tajik peoples.

That is why, according to the laws of physics and human society, each action gives rise to opposition, which is exacerbated and aggravated by the Kyrgyz media.
