A boards ceremony was held in the residential building of the participant of the World Bank located in the village “Rugund” of the rural community of “Sabriston” with the participation of representatives of the city civil society, teachers and students of the Institute.
After reading the biography of Barotboy Jumaev, Chairman of the Star Council of Veterans of the Sabristan Rural Community, Zokir Akhmedov, Chairman of the City Veterans and Labor Veterans Council, Abduvahob Kayumov, spoke about the efforts of the Tajik people and the work of Zakir Akhmadov in 1941-1945.
Later, the son of Ahmadov Zokir – Zokirov Ghanjan made a speech and welcomed the audience.
It was noted that Ahmadov Zokir was born in 1907 in the village of Rugund, and in 1941 volunteered to the front. He was wounded in battle in the cities of Kirovograd and Narva. After the victory he returned to his homeland where he was awarded the Red Star and the war medals.
During the event, students of TCMU # 12 village, Rugund, under the tutelage of Aminkhanov Abroron, painted the event in honor of the country.
In the village Rugund, the chairman of the city war and labor veterans Abduvahob Kayumov visited a veteran, a history teacher, Nabjon Ashurov.
