Creation of new enterprises is one of the main activities of the executive bodies, and for 11 months of 2019 four new industrial and industrial enterprises, including: OOO «Tajikistan» – flour production – 28 people, LLC «Sifat 2017» – recycling and manufacturing of plastic bottles – 7 persons, Hait Vahhobov LLC production of baked bricks – 5 people, LLC «Jobiri Sobir» – ornamental stone production by 4 persons and by individual entrepreneurs 8 small manufacturing factories with the creation of 47 new jobs in total – 91 new jobs.

Measures on production of import-substituting production have been taken in the city. Today, 820 people are employed in industrial enterprises of the city. (Compared to 2018 – 51 more).

All industrial enterprises in the city have made a commitment in 2019 to increase production by more than 30% and increase the number of employees to 105.

In addition, the city’s industrial enterprises have taken 300 million 22 thousand somoni to increase production obligations in 2019, the implementation of which for the first 11 months of 2019 is 282 million 659.4 thousand or 94.25.

City Education Department with the aim of streamlining the aesthetic education of pupils of educational institutions, low-cost and high-quality production of school uniforms signed contracts with 3 domestic sewing shops: SI Saidov Bakhtiyor has concluded contracts for the sewing of 29,266 schoolchildren out of 300 pieces.

To date, according to the plan of the Sughd Education Department for the city of Istaravshan 29,266 units of school uniforms for students and teachers have been provided.
