From October 18 to 21, the Central Stadium of Istaravshan will host an open city boxing tournament for youth born 2003-2006 and adults devoted to 2019-2021 “The Year of Rural Development, Tourism and Folklore” and in honor of the 50th anniversary. Master of Sports of the Republic of Tajikistan Barotov Kahramon was established and organized.
The tournament was attended by over 175 fighters from all over the country and neighboring Uzbekistan. The Sughd region won the first place among the teams, the second place was taken by Namangan region of Uzbekistan, and the third place was taken by Khatlon region.
The purpose of the sporting event is the promotion of state youth policy among young athletes and adolescents, as well as military-patriotic education, promotion of healthy lifestyles, prevention of drug addiction, friendship among athletes.
In the end, the winners of the competition were awarded diplomas, medals and prizes.
