President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Prince of the Ismaili world Prince Karim Al-Hussain IV and the champion of mixed fights Habib Nurmuhammedov are among the 500 most influential Muslims in the world
Monday, Oct. 3 – Sputnik. President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has been included in the list of 500 most influential Muslims of the world (The Muslim 500) for the fifth time.
The next list of The Muslim 500-2019 was compiled by the Center for Strategic Studies of Oman.
The authors of the referendum introduced Emomali Rahmon and wrote that he has been the President of Tajikistan since 1994 and has made a compromise on the Ka’bah and has changed his surname from Rahmonov to Rahmon.
The top five are President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz, King of Jordan Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein, Presidents of Turkmenistan and Chechnya – Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Ramazon Karimov.
The current UFC champion Habib Nurmuhammedov and famous British musician, singer and songwriter Sami Yusuf have also been included in the list.
According to the study, the influence of King Karim al-Husseini, the Aga Khan IV, the 49th Imam of the Ismailis, has increased worldwide and ranks 36th in the new list. Earlier, Aga Khan IV ranked 40th.
Saidmukarram Abdulkadirzoda is also on the list of The Muslim 500.
The leading Islamic scholar in our time, an expert in Islamic jurisprudence, economics, hadith and mystic Sheikh Muhammad Taqi Usmoni is the leader.
His successor is Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei. So far, he has managed to do a great deal of work on various subjects on Islam and he is the author of more than sixty books.
It should be noted that the rejection of The Muslim 500 has been made by the Center for Strategic Islamic Studies of Oman each year for the past nine years with the support of Georgetown Muslim-Christian Center.
