On January 9, 2020, Aksoy village council of Batken district, a large group of people armed with shotguns gathered in the house of Kyrgyz citizen Abdullaev Sultanbek Ismailovich against the movement of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan towards Chorkhu village council in Isfara.
At about 9:30 pm, they stole a Mercedes-Benz car belonging to Zafar Azamov, a resident of Khojai Alo village. As a result, the car’s glass was broken.
In response to the provocative actions of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan, about 10 minutes later, residents of Khojai Alo village threw stones at the car of a Kyrgyz citizen.
Representatives of the Department of Internal Affairs of Isfara 2 and the Batken District Police arrived at the scene in time and took control of the situation.
On January 10, 2020, at about 2 o’clock in the morning, residents of Koktosh village opened fire on a shotgun. However, joint efforts by law enforcement officers and border guards of the two countries prevented this incitement.
However, at about 4 o’clock Kyrgyzstan was shot from a hunting rifle in the private car of Ikromzoda Farhad, a police officer in Isfara. As a result of the accident, his life was saved, as the light hit the door of the car.
Currently, the border is stopped in this district and the situation is under control. Joint investigative group of law enforcement agencies of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan is conducting an investigation to determine the causes and causes of the incident and the identity of the perpetrators.
Of particular concern is the frequent use of hunting rifles by individuals in Kyrgyzstan for provocation. They are a direct threat to the lives and health of Tajik citizens, as was done on December 29, 2019 against T.Safarova, a resident of Somoniyon, Isfara.
In this regard, the Tajik side declares that in such cases all responsibility bears on the neighboring state bodies.
